The Lost Tomb of Jesus - Faith is not a lottery game base on statistics

We have watched “The Lost Tomb of Jesus” from the Discovery Channel, and found that it was purely a lesson of statistics. Imagine anyone would like to gamble one’s salvation leading to eternal life base on statistics which itself can’t even provide absolute certainty - putting one’s eternal life as a token to the stake a lottery game? In contrary to the written absolute promise of resurrection through Jesus Christ as our mediator:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.” John 3:16-18
