My Father-in-law's scared heart of Jesus picture

My father-in-law always keeps his sacred-heart-of-Jesus picture hanging in his home. (He loves discarding old things, but always keeping this picture wherever he moved.) All these years, I found the image of the picture a bit cultish. Not until today, finally the heart in the picture dawn onto me: it is a heart, not a brain. Faith has often been very mis-led or confused nowadays with rationality.

Mind can't lead us too far nor too high, only heart can free us therefore we shall fly.
