Mustard Seed & Yeast (Luke 13:18-21)
Contemplating on Mustard Seed & Yeast - Luke 13:18-21
The first feeling came upon me is being tiny but powerful and comforting.
Mustard Seed provides comfort after growing, continuity of its growth extends comfort to others. Yeast yields softness, tenderness, elasticity, flexibility for moulding without brittleness after being worked all through the hard dough.
Both mustard seed must grow and yeast must work through in parallel (cannot survive on one without the other); one being external entities: Christians’ words & actions through discipleship and serving God; and the other being internal properties: Christians’ cores/hearts/relationship with the Holy Spirit base on the grace of Christ through devotion, prayer, Bible study, worship, and writing spiritual journal.
