What is your definition of a leader? (Book of Amos and a CEO)

A few days ago, my facebook friend Dr. Toufic Boubez, a fun and great person in most areas, posted a link on his wall, commenting on a youtube video CBSNews (01/09) - What a CEO SHOULD Be (A Different Kind of Leader): “Leadership is *very* simple to identify.” I replied to his comment “Isn't that being identified as servant-hood leadership?!”

I think above video “CBSNews (01/09) - What a CEO SHOULD Be (A Different Kind of Leader)” gave a good illustration of servant-hood leadership. I am glad to witness servant-hood leadership spirit being practiced nowadays in some companies in the secular business sector. I do not know JAL CEO 西松遙社長 (Haruka Nishimatsu)'s religious belief, but his application of servant-hood leadership spirit in action is of no doubts.

Isn't that the book of Amos was warning Israelites (Northern Kingdom) not that they were any lack of practices in ceremonial/ritualistic devotions and worships to Yahweh; but of their decay in social justice? "While the military was strong and the gross national product was high, however, the nation was in an advanced state of social, moral, and spiritual decay. Shocking extremes of privilege and powerlessness, wealth and want had emerged. Judges could be bribed. Religion was a syncretistic mix of ritualistic devotion to Yahweh and various pagan deities. The fact that Yahweh had to summon Amos to address this situation was a damning indictment of Israel’s leaders, both religious and secular, who lacked the requisite ethical fiber." Being Christians, including me, it is worthwhile to re-study the book of Amos for deep reflection.
