At work we have automatic nightly software build, and after each successful build the report always comes with a quote believed to be retrieved from an archive put up by my dev manager. Today's quote contains a worth-pondering sentence: "In the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins, not through strength but by perseverance." I found the saying is very true indeed, after almost 40 years of my earthly life. No matter building our profession, our relationship with God, our relationship with people; concentration and perseverance (keep on doing disregarding any interference) slowly mold ourselves to whatever we are building.
