Joy to the world?!

• If someone said to you: "Let's set a day to remember your birthday, so we all can celebrate! But we don't want you be any part of the celebration." Eh?
• Empty tomb but not empty manger! Confused?
• Becoming Christians not by heritage, but by repentance of individual’s heart through Christ.
• Which place does allow more freedom to faith?

Pure input no output availabe for consumption leads to a dead end?

This morning when I was reading the Bible on the skytrain, one Bible verse (Matthew 21:18-19) shed me a light on our life style. I came to conclusion that if a person only kept on consuming resources from the universe and not producing anything that can fulfill others, the life of the person were in the process of withering.

Matthew 21:18-19
Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered.

Simple Analogy to Trinity

A simple analogy to Trinity: you may think of "H2O" (chemistry component of water): it has forms of liquid (water), gas (water vapour), solid (ice). "H2O" is one thing but can appear in three forms.

Analogy to one God of three persons - Father/Son:
- God as Father/God as human form (John 1:1-14)
- Holy Spirit: God as Counselor/guidance to Christians (John 14:26).

(1) tassels 繸子

The LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel. You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the LORD, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by going after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes. (Numbers 15:37-39)

耶 和 華 曉 諭 摩 西 說 ：你 吩 咐 以 色列 人 ， 叫 他 們 世 世 代 代 在 衣 服 邊 上 做 繸 子 ， 又 在 底 邊 的 繸 子 上 釘 一 根 藍 細 帶 子 。你 們 佩 帶 這 繸子 ， 好 叫 你 們 看 見 就 記 念 遵 行 耶 和 華 一 切 的 命 令 ， 不 隨 從 自 己 的 心 意 、 眼 目 行 邪 淫 ， 像 你 們素 常 一 樣 ；(民 數 記 15:37-39)

(2) on your hand and a reminder on your forehead 手上作記號，在你額上作紀念

This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that the law of the LORD is to be on your lips. For the LORD brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand. (Exodus 13:9)

(3) doorframes of your houses 房屋的門框上

Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. (Deuteronomy 6:9)
