A wild idea: Our brain being a receptor and a responder rather than a thinking engine

I am wondering if a person’s brain actually acts as a receiver and responder rather than a thinking engine. There is nothing originated from our brains; instead, they are driven by the Spirit/spirits through reception, and then we “respond” according to our beings followed by our behaviours and actions based on the corresponding resultant. However, there is a discerning and sensitive tuner living in each individual to channel in or out of the Holy Spirit channel. Whether one’s tuner is modulated sharply to the Holy Spirit channel and receiving strong and crispy signal has much to do with internal and external influences. The former is about personalities and character plus personal experiences (our beings), and the latter is about environmental and conditional situations. We need Christian spiritual disciplines and practices to cleanse & purity our beings and filtering external influences or noises in order for refining the modulation towards the channel of the Holy Spirit.
