Intimacy with a motive, Authentic Fear and His Grace

In Matthew 26, Judas gave Jesus a kiss which is an intimate gesture with a hidden motive; all the disciples, including His closest ones: James, John, Peter, deserted Him and fled in authentic fear and reaction. In Matthew 28; Acts 1-2, Jesus looked for His disciples after His resurrection and empowered them with the Holy Spirit. The grace of our Lord is amazing! His love is awesome!

Bible Old Testament being relevant in today’s world – family dynamics

Some people comment that the Bible - Old Testament contains ancient stories that have little to do with today’s world. However, if one read each story and the entire OT, one would find it very much related to the family dynamics of today’s world: the chaos in David’s family and his clinging onto God, the twin brothers Esau and Jacob along with the favouritism being and the scheme-of-a-woman doing of their mother Rebekah plus Isaac’s self-satisfying (e.g. gluttony) lifestyle… etc.
