Two tales of a city after a hot cross bun

Dear GDY Jr.,

One a penny Two a penny hot cross buns…

An only child, surrounded by mama papa grandma grandpa, is all dressed up for an Easter Egg Hunt on West Georgia;
A lonely child follows his papa, doesn’t see any mama around, shivering in his hoodie shirt for an Easter meal on East Hastings.

The only child does not like the idea of candies exchange for his hunted eggs, so he runs for the hot dog stand with twinkling eyes;
The shivering lonely child, cringing his head between his shoulders, cannot even respond to “Hot Chocolate! Hot Chocolate!”, so his papa tells him to get a cup of “Hot Chocolate” to warm up.

The only child kept in line for his choo-choo train ride at Stanley Park;
The lonely child kept in line for his Easter meal at Union Gospel Mission.

One a penny Two a penny hot cross buns…

Dear child on West Georgia, your little heart always fill with compassion: when you saw people wounded, you habitually stayed around, checked out the wounded with great concerns, and occasionally suggested sweet naïve recommendations for restorations. May your compassion continue to grow in Christ, and one day may you thankfully and graciously pour out your hot chocolate and share with many lonely children.

A love letter of "Two tales of a city after a hot cross bun" from your aunt, Clara, Easter'2017.
