心靈的哼唱

約在兩星期前我夫妻倆又有機會在電話中跟一位新認識的弟兄分享神的話語及一起禱告，我倆雖然只認識這位弟兄僅僅半年，但談到與神相關的事，總是滔滔不絕，為此非常感恩，皆我倆從弟兄中學習不少。

在電話那位中弟兄告訴我們他寫了一首詩有關幾隻在飛行中的雁兒，他又提及最近在美國發生的紅翅膀黑鳥在飛行中倒斃的事件 “red-winged blackbirds drop dead on New Year’s Eve at Beebe, Arkansas” 。 他說可能 New Year’s Eve 所放的煙花太嘈吵令到飛行中的群鳥失去方向感引至碰撞而死。之後，我們的分享又回到直接跟教會活動及祈禱有關的學習。

通完電話過後的一個星期多，我才越發現今次談話所得着的內容不只是在後比較詳細又與教會及聖經有直接關係那段，還有是交談時那段短短的開場白:「我心中不斷希望詩中那幾隻在飛行中的雁兒跟那千多隻於飛行中倒斃的黑鳥無關..雁兒幾隻..黑鳥成群上千..」。我們有否被世上燦爛的煙花着迷了而迷失了方向呢?什麼是世上的煙花呢?我的煙花跟你的煙花可能不同，但那發放出來的隆隆巨響和燦爛光芒同是會令我們的心着迷:「心蒙了脂油﹑耳朵發沉﹑眼睛昏迷」(以賽亞書6:10a)。我們心靈的飛翔是否時刻地朝向那三位一體的真神呢?

願我們的心靈天天哼唱着馬利亞頌:

「我心尊主為大；我靈以神我的救主為樂；…」(路加福音1:46-56)

The 3 photo following CCCWC

On 31-DEC-2010, I received 3 photo from an email. Wow, After looking through the pictures, I thought I've entered a time-machine. It makes me recall Dr. Milton Wan's speech at CCCWC closing ceremony: "social club ... [disconnection]", and Dr. Philemon Choi's opening ceremony's speech describing his generation used to be "I think therefore I exist"; while nowadays younger generation: "I feel therefore I exist.". I think the latter statement is kind of applicable to old folks as well as we also enjoy living in memories (the mechanism of recollection does not really belong to the "think" category but more by "feel" that one recollects). Actually, I think to the end: "I lived therefore I exist". 2011, Let's move onto God centred & Biblical years to come!

Romans 12:1-2 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
